List of Films Watched - 1995

This is an alphabetical list of films I've watched and the score I gave them out of 10 after the first viewing. Scores are based purely on entertainment value or more specifically how much they entertained me at the time of watching. There is a possibility that I may have forgotten a film or two that I watched years ago. These will be added when I remember again. My target is to watch 300 feature films and 300 short films from this year. Only the films that fit this blog will have their own separate entry.

Although this film is based on truth, there is plenty of artistic licence in the script. I do love the way that it is not only Geoffrey Rush inhibiting the personality of Peter Sellers, but also that Peter Sellers (the true-life character in this film) inhibits the other characters he interacts with to tell the story of his life his way. Sometimes you are looking at his real life through a film set with the crew in the background. This is a style that was recently used in the British television series 'Landscapers'.

A bad film. Most of the acting was wooden, but the main reasons for such a low rating was the script and probably the editing, although the version I have is a cut version. There seems to be bits missing from the storyline with characters that have no reason to be in the film at all. For example, one of the characters is told to watch through the windows for anyone approaching the house and shoot them. A few minutes later the female lead walks straight in and the first character is suspiciously missing with no explanation. There is supposed to be a version out there with more nudity, especially from Adriana Stastny. That may also have the other bits in which would hopefully mean that the film makes more sense. Found no enjoyment in this one at all and the rating is generous.
